CUI Enclave Receives Final CMMC Level 2 Certification
Collinear Group has received a Final CMMC Level 2 (C3PAO) certification. It follows an independent assessment by CyberNINES, an authorized CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization, and was awarded on July 28, 2026.
The assessment covered Collinear Group’s CUI enclave, an AWS GovCloud environment used to store, process, and transmit Controlled Unclassified Information, and did not extend to corporate systems outside it.
The assessment closed with no findings. The enclave met all 320 assessment objectives across the 110 security requirements of NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2. That includes the requirements governing how the enclave encrypts data, authenticates users, and collects and retains logs.
At the time of certification, Collinear Group was one of fewer than 2,000 organizations holding a Final CMMC Level 2 certification, out of a defense industrial base estimated at 80,000 to 120,000 firms.
The certification is valid for three years, subject to annual affirmation.
